Manuscript Submissions

We welcome and encourage manuscripts that take holistic approaches in tackling development issues from a scholarly perspective.  We believe that Africa's pressing development issues encompass policy, social, economic, cultural, and natural areas.  Thus, manuscripts submitted should be of scholarly/academic standards.  Prospective authors should consult writing manuals, such as the University Chicago Style, APA for examples of citation and reference styles.  It must be emphasized that authors' whose manuscripts are accepted for publication should expect a four month turn around from the time of submission to the time of publication.  Generally, authors are informed about the status of their manuscripts (i.e. whether accepted or rejected) within eight weeks.
Three external reviewers will evaluate the manuscripts for their quality, originality, and contribution to knowledge.  Accepted manuscripts must not be published elsewhere.  A submitted manuscript must include a 150 word abstract and a short author biography on a separate page.  Examples of citation and reference styles provided next and below.

In submitting manuscripts for consideration, authors are encouraged to send their manuscripts by e-mail as attachments in either Microsoft Word or Word Perfect:

Authors can send their manuscripts by e-mail by sending files to: valentineudohjames@yahoo.com

The deadlines for submissions are:

October 15th for the Fall/Winter Issue.
March 15th for the Spring/Summer Issue.
